I feel blessed to say that I've lost count of how many styled shoots we’ve worked on. I love playing with inventory and decor and working with photographers & creatives to capture an essence. I love inspiring others to build their dream events.
A true collector at heart and a believer that we can mix business & pleasure, I’ve always had an interest in creating an alluring business where I could pour my creative juices. When I started getting serious about starting a business, I thought it would be through buying and selling. I was often thrifting locally, buying goods on family visits to the Philippines, or checking out websites like Alibaba online. However, when it came time to sell & ship- I had a very hard time letting go of my beautiful finds!
One day, my vintage addiction led me to hunt for the beloved Peacock Chairs. To find them locally, I had to be patient and really keep my eyes peeled. I honestly couldn’t wait and started looking abroad… this led me to purchase an antique pair from Wisconsin that I fell in love with- our White Iron Peacock Chairs. I found a way to buy them and managed to ship them home!

Once I planned my first wedding, I was hooked on event planning. My favorite part is finding all the missing pieces and putting them together. I love culture, traditions, authenticity, style, magic and getting low key extra with design. This is where me and my sister definitely come together.
We felt that gatherings and celebrations were missing some flare here in Hawaii and could be done in more meaningful and expressive ways, with more style, grace and mindfulness andd... Ambient Rentals was born.
